Auditions!
I did a mailing for Portland theaters, and I have gotten some phonecalls to schedule a few auditions! Very exciting. It has been a while since I have had an actual theater audition and I am really looking forward to it. I have a couple great, contemporary contrasting monologues (and they translate on camera, which is something that makes me very happy. Will work well for Los Angeles, when that time comes). My first audition is June 14th, for Northwest Children’s Theater and I am going to sing for that one, as well. It will be good for me. June 21st, I have a Portland Theater Alliance audition, which will be for several equity and non-equity theaters. Nice. Aaaaand today I got a phone from a smaller theater in Portland, calling me in specifically for “Biloxi Blues,” which would be very cool. I will keep you posted on all this.
