Hi there. My name is Morgan Cox and I have recently moved back to the West Coast (originally from Portland, Oregon) after spending the last five years on the East. I spent three of those five years attending graduate school, studying acting at Temple University, in North Philadelphia (I graduated with my MFA in the spring of 2006), and two years living, auditioning, and working in both Philadelphia and New York City. I have had the opportunity to work with many reputable theaters, including The Berkshire Theatre Festival, where I was cast in two shows, “Where Has Tommy Flowers Gone?” as Nedda Lemon, and “A Christmas Carol,” as The Ghost of Christmas Past, as well as two staged readings. I spent a summer at The Williamstown Theatre Festival, as an acting apprentice, and had the opportunity to audition and was cast in the ensemble of two mainstage productions, “The Cherry Orchard,” directed by Michael Greif, and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” directed by Nicholas Martin. In New York, I participated in a staged reading at Primary Stages, for the Rogelio Martinez play, “Will in Space.” I have also worked in many non-union theaters in both Philadelphia and New York. In addition to my classical theatre training, I also studied ballet for fifteen years, and have a talent and passion for improvisational comedy. I was a member of Alan Chan Improv, in NYC, as well Mission! Improv! at Santa Clara University, of which I ultimately became co-director. Here you will find updates via my blog of projects I am currently working on and auditioning for. There are also links to my headshots, resume, film work, reviews, production photos, and some candid shots, as well.

Enjoy!
